Welcome to the CBT Clinic & CPD Institute Ireland

The CBT Clinic which has been a quality provider of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy over the decades has come together with the CPD Institute to provide quality CPD training to the Psychotherapy, Counselling, Medical and Psychology Community.

A range of courses to include topics such as Grief and Loss, CBT to Behavioral Modification all of which are designed to meet the criteria for CPD credits, are presented using power point presentation over one, two, three, and four days as required.

The Clinical Director of the CBT Clinic is Mr Christopher Buckley PGDip. MSc. Christopher has extensive experience in the treatment of Anxiety, Depression, and OCD, and has carried out clinical trials in group-based CBT treatment with Abbot Laboratories. Our team of therapists are all specialists in their individual disciplines, have many years’ experience and are fully accredited and insured by the appropriate bodies.

The Clinic is open 8.00 am to 9.00pm, Monday to Saturday.

Most of our referrals are taken from GPs or EAPs, though we may also be able to facilitate individual referrals. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is particularly suited to solution-focussed, brief interventions. All referrals - whether by GPs EAP officers, HR personnel or by individuals can be made by contacting our Clinic (link) Contact Us. We aim to facilitate all referrals within 10 working days; urgent referrals will be prioritised. All formal referrals will be acknowledged for your files. Therapy sessions are typically for one hour, and usually clients are offered appointments on a weekly basis.
